How it works

A season, start to finish.

Reflect. Discuss. Plan. Revisit. Three checkpoints a season, the same for every sport, men's and women's.

Set up once. The platform runs the calendar, sends the reminders, and does the math. Coaches spend their time on the conversations.

Week 0Setup, 15 minutes. Create the team, paste the roster, confirm checkpoint dates, print a QR code. Rosters carry forward every season.
BaselineAthletes scan the code at practice and finish The Blu Print and the sport skill survey. The coach rates every athlete on the same skills before seeing a single answer.
Week 2The Board lists who to talk to first. Each athlete gets a one page sheet: strengths, focus areas, the gap, and an opening question. Coach and athlete agree on one focus and a review date.
MidseasonSecond check in. Change since Baseline shows on every report. Plans get reviewed, closed, or replaced.
Season ReviewFinal check in and a season summary for every athlete. The athletic director gets a one page program report. Next season starts from this record, not from zero.
The Blu Print

Fifteen blocks. Five layers. Every sport.

Thirty statements, two per block, each answer worth 0 through 4. Every block scores 0 to 8 and the whole pyramid scores 120. Read it from the bottom up, because nothing above a layer holds when the layer under it is soft. Scores describe how the athlete sees themself today, never a verdict about the person.

Privacy by design

Who sees what is a setting, not a promise.

Athlete

Their own answers and whatever the coach shares. Never a teammate's results.

Coach

Their team only. Private notes stay private, even from athletic directors and Blu Ocean staff.

Athletic director

Team averages and participation. Groups under five athletes stay hidden.

Booster club

The invoice. Paying never grants access to athlete data.

Parent consent is collected online once a year for athletes under 18. Schools sign a student data privacy agreement. Athletes are reached by link and QR code, never by unsolicited text.
